“Rethinking Resources” has been named a Winner in two architecture categories.
The “Rethinking Resources” project realized by rocDesign for Northcomp is among the winners of the ICONIC AWARDS 2026.
The international expert jury has honored the exhibition stand in two categories for outstanding design quality:
Winner – Architecture: Circular Design
Winner – Architecture: Event and Exhibition
The project is therefore recognized both for its consistent approach to resources and for its architectural and spatial quality in the exhibition and event sector.
An exhibition stand in which design, function and the responsible use of resources were considered together from the very beginning.
At interzum 2025 in Cologne, a clear and open architecture was created for product presentation, communication and interaction.
Durable materials, modular structures and reuse were treated as integral parts of the design concept.
Materiality, typography, product staging and visitor guidance combine to create a distinctive Northcomp presence.
The ICONIC AWARDS focus on pioneering architectural projects and sustainable solutions in architecture, interiors and design.
The fact that “Rethinking Resources” is recognized in both Circular Design and Event and Exhibition confirms the project’s core approach: sustainability is not treated as an add-on, but as an integral part of a high-quality design solution.
The exhibition stand demonstrates how resource-conscious thinking, clear brand communication and a strong spatial identity can work together.
The Northcomp project was implemented in line with the rocGreen approach. The aim was to conserve resources, keep materials in circulation and make as many elements as possible reusable for future projects.
The visible materiality of the exhibition stand is not merely a construction solution, but an integral part of the brand communication.
